William Doolin, Jr., OD, FAAO

Dr. George W. Doolin, Jr., OD, FAAO, graduated from Okaloosa-Walton Junior College in 1968. After honorably serving in the United States Air Force as a Russian Linguist, he graduated summa cum laude in Pre-Medical studies from the University of West Florida in 1974. He was accepted to University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and graduated with honors.

Dr. Doolin returned home to Ft. Walton Beach and provides primary optometric care to his community, with low vision and contact lenses as his specialties. Dr. Doolin is active in the First United Methodist Church and has been a member of the local Chamber of Commerce. He has served the Florida Optometric Association on a local and state level and remains an active member. Dr. Doolin is a Fellow of the American Academy Of Optometry.
