Clarkson Eyecare is proud to be a medically based optometric group founded in St. Louis, Missouri. Our team of highly trained optometrists, opticians, and technicians focus on maintaining the health and development of your eyes by providing the most comprehensive eye exam with the latest in vision care technology. The Clarkson Eyecare brand was founded in 1979 by Lawrence J. Jehling, O.D. on Clarkson Road in Ellisville, Missouri.

In 1995, Dr. Jehling collaborated with several other St. Louis eye doctors, and this merger ignited the rapid growth of the company. Clarkson Eyecare expanded its services outside Missouri and Southern Illinois starting in 2014 with partnerships in Ohio and Kentucky. Clarkson doctors now proudly serve patients in these states plus Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia.
