Janet Collier, O.D.

Originally from New England, Dr. Collier earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Rhode Island College. Exposed to the world of eyecare due to her older sister's diabetic eye complications, she pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she received the R.H. Burton award for clinical excellence prior to graduation in 1996. Dr. Collier has been practicing optometry for over 25 years, 17 of them at our Kirkwood office. Meeting and marrying her husband is what brought Dr. Collier to St. Louis 25 years ago. They have one daughter. Dr. Collier enjoys hiking with her family, playing volleyball, and caring for her two dogs (Yadi and Stanley).
