About James Wachter
Over his 25 year career in Optometry, Dr. Wachter has led the Clarkson Eyecare organization from a single location to the several hundred offices in operation today in a dozen states. Dr. Wachter is a St. Louis native graduating from St. Louis University and then The Illinois College of Optometry where he earned his graduate degree. Subsequently, he completed his Harvard University and New England College of Optometry affiliated Ocular Disease Residency at the Brockton and West Roxbury VAMC Hospitals just outside of Boston, MA.
