Hedy Leibowitz, OD

Dr. Hedy Leibowitz, OD, has been practicing optometry for 25 years. Dr. Leibowitz graduated from Binghamton University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree and then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry in 1996. Dr. Leibowitz is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.

Dr. Leibowitz decided to pursue optometry based on her own childhood experiences; Her optometrist impressed up on her his enthusiasm for the profession and his desire to help others.

Outside of the office, Dr. Leibowitz enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters. In the fall she is busy cheering on her kids in the marching band. She and her family now reside in Monmouth County, NJ.
